Story Behind the Vehicle

Intro

This is a 2006 BMW 330ci convertible with 78,690 miles in Titanium Silver and upholstered in black Alcantara. It is a ZHP “performance” model that was only available in the US and sold from 2004-2006. The ZHP has a more powerful 3.0L inline six engine as well as modified suspension. This is a three owner ZHP with manual transmission and optioned with Premium and Cold Weather Packages. It was registered in Florida, Texas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. It is an extremely well-maintained ZHP and has a clear title and Carfax.

Exterior

The Titanium Silver ZHP has Shadowline trim around the windows, M-Tech II front bumper with M-tech fogs rear bumper with diffuser and M-tech side sills, spoiler, and reflectors. The exterior of this 2006 330cic is in excellent condition with some very minor paint chips. The hood, front bumper and front fenders were repainted in 2020 to a very high standard because of excessive road rash. It has double-spoke (Styling 135M) cast alloy wheels 18 x 8.0 front 225/40R-18 Continental tires and 18 x 8.5 rear with 255/35R-18 Continental tires. This BMW has never been in an accident.

Imperfections

Alcantara interior fading and patch repair on driver’s seat.

Some paint chips.

Interior

This ZHP comes standard with a leather steering wheel, shift boot, and parking brake boot plus plus a short and weighted ///M shift knob, and silver cube trim. It shows some interior wear and fading including a small patch-repair on the left side of the driver seat bolster. It has BMW floor mats, heated seats, and BMW business radio.

Mechanicals

The ZHP has an increase of 10 hp (7 kW), 8 lb·ft of torque, a lightweight flywheel,

more aggressive camshaft and free-flowing exhaust with 35 mm matte stainless steel dual exhaust pipes. This car was extremely well maintained and current on all maintenance.

Summary

The ZHP was the performance model of the e46 model. The next model up would have been an M3. This was a sunny day BMW that spent its time in the garage when not driven and comes with the highly desirable 6-speed short throw manual. Extras include second staggered set of black 18” wheels, blacked out grills, and M style pedal covers.
