Our Story
Built by BMW Obsessives. For BMW Obsessives.
You know that feeling when you find the car? The one you've been hunting for, the one that makes you understand why you fell in love with BMWs in the first place?
Collector Chassis exists because that moment—and everyone who chases it—deserves better.
When we launched in 2019, we saw a gap: Bring a Trailer was brilliant, but they treated all cars the same. A pristine E30 M3 gets lost in the noise. A rare parts collector goes unnoticed. A garage full of project and collectors' cars deserves its own spotlight.
So, we built something different. Something that gets BMWs. Something the BMW Car Club of America trusted enough to make their official marketplace.
Here, your collection gets its own stage. Your auction finds the right bidder. Your Buy Now listing attracts serious buyers who already know what they want. And when the reserve doesn't hit, we don't leave you hanging—we convert that Auction into a General Listing with offers rolling in.

Our Mission
To create the most trusted, transparent, and community-driven marketplace for enthusiast-owned European cars.
We believe car buying should be:
- Community-driven: Transactions between real enthusiasts, not dealers
- Transparent: Clear fees, accurate descriptions, no hidden costs
- Fair: Reasonable fees that benefit both buyers and sellers
- Authentic: Real cars with real stories from real owners

Payment Structure
Sellers list for free. Buyers pay a small premium (3%, 5%, or 10%) when they win or purchase.
Buyer premium is paid to Collector Chassis via credit card (Stripe). This is how we keep the lights on and continue serving the community.
Sale price is paid directly from buyer to seller (wire, Zelle, check, cash). We never touch that money. This keeps transactions simple and reduces risk for everyone.
Secure Transactions
For safe and secure transactions, we partner with KeySavvy.
Collector Chassis has partnered with KeySavvy, a trusted automotive transaction platform that provides escrow services, secure payment processing, and title transfer assistance to protect both buyers and sellers throughout the transaction process.
